Now Selling1/2About cheap land for sale in Sri Lanka.
This page shows the 60 lowest-priced land plots on LankaNewHomes, ranked by the price per perch the seller publishes. The lowest starts at Rs. 65,000 per perch (Gangani Udyanaya, Colombo), out of 260 plots with a published per-perch price.
Published prices per perch by district: Colombo: Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 6,950,000 per perch (113 plots); Gampaha: Rs. 77,500 to Rs. 2,650,000 per perch (46 plots); Kalutara: Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 690,000 per perch (24 plots); Kurunegala: Rs. 90,000 to Rs. 1,750,000 per perch (22 plots); Galle: Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 1,700,000 per perch (19 plots); Kandy: Rs. 85,000 to Rs. 375,000 per perch (12 plots).
Cheap land is usually cheaper for a reason: it can be further from a main town, on a narrower road or in an area still being developed. Compare the price per perch against plots nearby rather than the total price, because plot sizes differ. Whatever the price, ask for the deed and the approved survey plan, check how wide the access road is, and find out about drainage, flooding in the rainy season and utilities (water, electricity, internet) before you commit. Our short guide, before buying land in Sri Lanka, covers the title check and building approvals.
Listing on LankaNewHomes is free for sellers, and an enquiry from any plot goes straight to the developer or builder with no agent in between.
