Rush Lanka Group is a family-owned Colombo residential developer, founded in 1992 by Mr Iqbal Karim as Rush Property Developers (Pvt) Ltd and now entering its third generation of leadership. Its first project, Rush Apartments (SPI) in 1996, made it the first developer to introduce apartment living in Dehiwala; since then it has delivered 20+ completed developments across Colombo and its suburbs, housed more than 600 families, and in 2023 launched Rush 2 Homes Real Estate L.L.C. in Dubai. Homes are offered in three tiers — Affordable Luxury, Premium Luxury and Ultra Luxury — and every building shares the same non-negotiables: reinforced structure, high-speed elevators, 24/7 security, generator backup, a private balcony in every unit and a rooftop terrace.
